Swim with Camp J

Each day at the pool includes instructional and/or free swim time. Through the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program, our campers learn at their own pace in a confidence-building environment. All campers are swim tested on their first day of camp to evaluate and place them appropriately in the pool.

Our lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors (WSIs) are certified by the American Red Cross and go through pre-summer training specific to our Camp J summer swim program.

Being safe and having fun in the water is an important part of summer and the Camp J experience.

Each day at the pool includes both instructional and recreational swim time. Through the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program, our campers learn at their own pace in a confidence-building environment. All campers are swim tested on their first day of camp to evaluate and place them appropriately in the pool.

Learn to Swim consists of levels that allow for campers to improve their stroke and water safety skills.

Every child participates in a swim test to determine which level best suits the needs of the camper. Our highly-trained and experienced group swim teachers strive to make each child feel capable, smart, and confident in the pool, regardless of initial ability.
